Cargo Traders International, a member of the Motion Logistics Network representing Australia, has successfully managed the shipment of a 20-tonne Franna crane to Fiji. The crane was loaded onto a 40-foot flat rack, with the transport requiring meticulous planning to ensure seamless delivery.
The Franna crane shipment involved several critical steps. The process began with collecting the crane from a location 500 kilometres west of Brisbane, Australia. The equipment was then packed onto a 40-foot flat rack at the Port of Brisbane for transport to Suva, Fiji. The oversized nature of the equipment presented unique challenges, with a 6-centimeter overhang on each side and a height exceeding standard dimensions by 117 centimetres. Team Cargo Traders International completed the machinery survey promptly, ensuring the crane's arrival in Suva before Christmas.
