The journey began in Mali, went through Guinea, and reached its destination in Sierra Leone’s vibrant capital, Freetown. The meticulous planning and management of export customs clearance, in-transit clearances, and import clearance in each country contributed to the efficient transportation process. Coordination with local authorities was also crucial to ensure a seamless passage through customs procedures. Additionally, using specialised vehicles was helpful to deal with the challenging road conditions and ensure the safety of the 1250kVA GENSET. Specialised equipment, including crane hire, was also used to provide flawless offloading upon arrival in Freetown, placed precisely and safely at its final destination.
